| I still have the Z in my profile, (96TT Cobalt Green)~ but have always wanted another Charcoal Gray TT. Oxford Gray may also satisfy me, either way I'm not going to go the route of changing the original color. This color was available from 90-93, (maybe 94?) so turning the hunt into a Project Z hunt over finding an excellent to pristine gray TT seems more realistic to me. I want to replace/upgrade/mod everything on my Z, ending up with a beauty like those seen here on TTnet, but with my current Z that would mean changing out parts that still have life left in them (i.e. turbos, intercoolers) not to mention the beyond Stage III work and parts. Still I would have a beautiful beast that I wished was a different color. So I am looking for a Gray TT, of course, but have also recently expanded my search to include Gray NA 2 seaters. I'm thinking that the lower cost of an NA vs an equal year mileage/condition of a TT could fall around the cost of a front clip. Again I want to rework everything, wheels, suspension, engine, interior, cosmetics and have the end product be my own work. So does this sound realistic? What are the flaws in my thinking, from your alternate viewpoint? The balance left from selling/trading my current Z would be applied to this project. Thanks for the help!!!
